- Casper’s father started him in golf at age five and during his youth, he worked as a caddie at the San Diego Country Club

Birth of a Career
- After competing as an amateur against fellow rivals, Billy Casper turned professional

- Casper won his first PGA Tour. (then went on to win 50 more)
